Bizagi (compound of the pronunciation of the words "business" and "agility") is a privately-owned global software company founded in 1989, by five people who still work in responsible positions in the company today.
With almost 30 years of experience from the BPM and Digital Process Automation industry, has achieved a global presence.
Bizagi is one platform made up of three component parts. Each facilitates a key step in transforming and automating the business processes.
Bizagi Modeler, recognized by the Bizagi users’ community as the most powerful BPMN modeling environment in the market, is an application to graphically diagram, document and simulate processes.
Bizagi Studio is an intuitive process automation software to automate any business process across the organization with minimal coding. From defining your data model and UI to integrating IT assets and everything in between, Bizagi's in-built wizard supports you every step of the way.
Bizagi Automation executes and controls across the organization the business processes automated by Bizagi Studio. Bizagi's unique multi-language portal makes pending activities easy to visualize, while KPIs provide total control over process performance.
Important milestones
1989, Bizagi wins its first project - developing a Scala ERP system for Apple.
2005, Bizagi opens its UK HQ in Amersham, Bucks.
2008, Bizagi Modeler is released, disrupting the enterprise market by offering risk-free software. The Spanish office opens.
2013, the Bizagi US office opens. The company was also positioned as a Strong Performer in the Forrester Wave.
2016, Launch of Bizagi 11 - The Digital Business Platform. Forrester recognizes Bizagi as a strong performer in Low-Code Rapid Application Development.
Bizagi was highlighted as a Strong Performer in the Forrester Research, Inc. report, The Forrester Wave Low-Code Development Platforms, Q2 2016, praising Bizagi for a market-leading virtual data modeling environment, user interface, and workflow.
Bizagi was named a Challenger in iBPMS by Gartner in the Magic Quadrant for Intelligent Business Process Management Suites in 2016 and 2017, praising Bizagi for several unique strengths, including high customer satisfaction.
2018, the Bizagi community reached 1 Million members.
Bizagi launches new Modeler Services plans for its global user community.
Bizagi hosts its inaugural global community event in Miami - Bizagi Catalyst.
2020 Bizagi became FedRAMP Authorized.
2021 Bizagi was named a Strong Performer in The Forrester Waveâ„¢: Digital Process Automation Software.
2022 Bizagi launched the first cloud-only version.
